how to get here

car, plane or train.

  • by car

Maren-Kessel is easy to reach via the Dutch motorway network, close to 's-Hertogenbosch. Use the address above in your navigation.

    • Large car park right at the venue — buy your parking ticket in advance; on-site costs more
    • Satnav suggests the Maas ferry? Ignore it — stay south of the river
    • Arrive early on friday — doors open in the morning
  • by plane

Three airports within reach. Rent a car or take the train + taxi from there.

    • Eindhoven Airport (EIN) — the closest, about 40 minutes by car
    • Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) — the big international hub, roughly 1.5 hours by car
    • Düsseldorf (DUS) — handy from Germany, roughly 2 hours by car
  • by train

Take the train to 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) or Oss — both work. Direct intercity trains run from Schiphol and Eindhoven to Den Bosch; from either station it's a short taxi ride to the venue.

    • Taxi from Oss station: about 14 minutes
    • Taxi from Den Bosch station: about 25 minutes
    • Travelling together? Share a taxi — you pay per car, not per person
    • No ticket needed: tap in with your bank card or phone

where to stay

staying over? good plan.

Friday and saturday each have their own programme, and friday evening is for networking — so make a weekend of it. These are the places we recommend, all on the right side of the river.

heads up: the maas river.

Don't trust your satnav blindly. Maren-Kessel is on the south side of the Maas, and some places that look close on a map are across the river — reachable only by a small ferry that doesn't run at night. Every place on this list is on the right side. No surprises.

practical tips

come prepared.

  1. plan for both days

Friday ≠ saturday. If you're travelling far, two days — and the evening in between — are worth it.

  2. dress for the arena

It's an arena in october, and the temperature inside matches the temperature outside. Dress warm, wear layers and comfortable shoes.

  3. bring your questions

And your business cards. Brands are there to talk shop — the nerdier the better.

  4. professionals only

Entrance is exclusively for professionals: saddle fitters, saddle makers, brands, dealers and tack shops. Your ticket is your entry.
